PACK 54 WELCOMES YOU!
Cub Pack 54 would like to welcome your family to scouting! Cub Scouting in Ho-Ho-Kus is a family-oriented organization that aims to bring outdoor fun, values-based learning opportunities, and so much more to the children of Ho-Ho-Kus and Saddle River.
Boys and Girls are both eligible to join Pack 54. Your child will be a member of a grade/age-level DEN, which meets throughout the school year to explore topics such as hiking, outdoor skills, teamwork, healthy living through nutrition and fitness, woodworking, sports, and being a member of a family and a community.
All of the dens come together monthly as a PACK to enjoy a fun event such as the Pinewood Derby, Camping, Sleepovers at Museums, Sports Events, or to Serve the Community together. Pack events are a great opportunity for children of different ages to get to know one another. AND, one of the best features of our program is that parents, siblings, and other family members are invited to join in the fun!
Scouting also provides an incredibly rewarding opportunity for parents to serve the community and the other children who their child will be friends with for a lifetime. You can be a den leader, providing hands-on fun for the children each month. Or, if you prefer to be “behind the scenes”, we have ample opportunities to support this amazing program, from serving on our Pack Committee to helping to plan one of our fun Pack events.
By joining Cub Scouts, your child will follow the trail of a long line of scouts who have pledged to live a life that is: trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

Sycamore Community Church is the organization that sponsors both Cub Pack 54 and Troop 54.
Not only does the Church provide its sponsorship, it also provides us the perfect location for holding pack events, like the Pinewood Derby and Blue and Gold Ceremony, leadership committee meetings, and den meetings. They also provide storage for our Pack equipment and supplies.
All of this at no cost to our Pack.
We depend on the Sycamore Community Church, and it’s hard to imagine where the Pack might be if it weren’t for their unwavering support over the years.
